Full Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – Mau Chau (L, D)

Meet your private local guide and driver upon pick up from your hotel in Hanoi who’ll take you to Mai Chau. Leave Hanoi behind, we enter Hoa Binh karting mountains with 165 km in Northwest Vietnam. On the way to Hoa Binh, we will stop in Thong Khe pass to take some nice photos, have lunch on Mai Chau arrival.

After checking in the homestay, in the afternoon we discover villages in Mai Chau by cycling through the green scenery of mountain and rice paddy. Interestingly, we have some stops en-route for looking at the work of people here (indigo weaving). Have dinner and overnight in homestay.

Day 2: Mai Chau – Pu Luong Nature Reserve (B, L, D)

After breakfast, the day trip starts with a comfortable drive to Pu Luong area. We also have some stops along the limestone mountains side for taking the picture down the terrace of Pu Luong Nature Reserve. We will then soak down the valley to check-in Black Thai homestay and have a warm lunch with them.

Afternoon, visit some villages and also enjoy the view of Sapa Vietnam, then back to the Thai house. Have dinner and overnight in homestay.

Day 3: Pu Luong Nature Reserve – Ninh Binh (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we relish in the breathtaking view from Pu Luong Nature Reserve and then we check out homestay. Trekking along the small roads through the rice terraces to visit the hidden village of Kho Muong. Right after, we explore Doi cave, the largest cave in Pu Luong. Have lunch and free time to relax before turning back to Ninh Binh province for overnight accommodation.

Day 4: Hoa Lu Ancient Capital – Trang An Eco-Tourism – Hanoi (B, L, D)

Savor breakfast at the Retreat and this morning, ride the bike for the journey through the limestone karsts to reach 2 temples in the 10th century in Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. On the way back, we will stop in a local family to discover their daily life, their culture, and share a tea with them. Have lunch and check out the Retreat. Our car drives you to Trang An for a boat ride in among the karsts and immerses in the majesty of scenery here. Drive back to Hanoi by car.

Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay (L, D)

Today, an included excursion takes you to Halong Bay, the jewel in the Crown of Vietnam. We will cruise among thousands of exceptional limestone karst formations, savor the scenery and have delectable lunch on the boat.

In the afternoon, we have time kayaking among the hidden areas of the Bay before getting back to the cruise. You have leisure time for relaxation, rowing boat at the beach of Soi Sim island. Have dinner and overnight on the cruise.

Day 6: Hanoi Departure (B)

Start the day with the Tai Chi exercises and savor breakfast, enjoy yourself on the cruise before turning back to Hanoi. Tour ends.
