Vietnam Luxury Train Along the Dragon’s Trails – 4 Days

At around 09:00, you will be picked up by private transfer from your hotel and driven to Gia Lam Station. Upon arrival, enjoy access to an exclusive waiting lounge, where you can relax with refreshments and traditional Vietnamese music before boarding.

Once onboard Vietnam’s luxury train, settle into your cabin as the journey begins. Lunch is served while the train glides through the peaceful countryside of Northern Vietnam, passing rice fields, villages, and the Red River landscape.

In the evening, the train makes a brief stop for a special cultural performance by local artisans. Afterward, return to the train and enjoy a gourmet dinner, with dishes thoughtfully prepared and paired with fine beverages. Every plate is a culinary work of art, perfectly paired with fine wine or professionally mixed cocktails, offering a dining experience to remember amid your journey of discovery.

Begin your day with breakfast onboard as the train arrives in Sapa. The journey continues with a ride on the Muong Hoa mountain train, offering panoramic views of terraced rice fields and mountain landscapes.

From there, take the Fansipan cable car to reach the summit of Fansipan, the “Roof of Indochina,” where you can admire sweeping views of clouds, valleys, and surrounding peaks.

After descending, enjoy lunch before heading to the Muong Hoa Valley to visit Lao Chai village. Nestled beneath the valley, Lao Chải lies between the majestic Hoàng Liên Sơn range and Hàm Rồng Mountain. From here, you’ll marvel at the traditional houses scattered across vast, terraced rice fields that ripple and wind along the mountain slopes like golden waves.

Return to the train for dinner in the dining carriage. The train departs and overnight journey to Hanoi, while you relax in your private cabin.

Enjoy breakfast onboard as the train approaches Hai Phong, arriving at 09:30. From here, transfer to Tuan Chau Marina to begin your cruise through Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay at around 10:30.

Throughout the journey, you will have the opportunity to admire the panoramic view of Ha Long Bay – a natural wonder of the world recognized by UNESCO – where thousands of large and small limestone islands with interesting shapes converge.

Explore Sang–Toi Cave by kayak or bamboo boat, then continue to the Ao Ech area for swimming, relaxing, or water activities. Later, return to the cruise to enjoy two delightful experiences: the Sunset Party and a rejuvenating soak in the all – season jacuzzi, along with light refreshments and views over the bay.

As night gently falls over Ha Long Bay, you conclude a day filled with excitement and board the vehicle returning you to the luxurious train. In your elegant cabin, you can recline in comfort, letting your mind drift along with the ever-changing scenery outside the window.
Each turn of the wheels on the track is like a soft melody, inviting complete relaxation and allowing you to fully embrace the harmony between modern comfort and the pristine beauty of Vietnam as night descends.

The train reached Gia Lam station. Guests will savor breakfast until 8:30 am. At 9:00 am, check-out procedures commence.
Today, based on your flight timings, you will be transferred to the hotel in Hanoi or Noi Bai Airport for your return flights home.
