Upon arrival in Nam Dinh, our first stop is Hong Quang Village – one of Vietnam’s most picturesque and culturally rich water puppet villages. Here, you’ll meet local artisans and learn about the origins of water puppetry, an art form deeply rooted in Vietnamese tradition.
You’ll not only hear captivating stories about how this folk art has been preserved through generations, but also have the chance to try your hand at making your own water puppet.

Next, continue to Co Chat Silk-Making Village, where you’ll explore the traditional process of unravelling silkworm cocoons and weaving silk threads.
The village preserves its ancestral craft through the hands of elderly artisans who still use traditional methods, while younger generations have adopted modern machinery to boost productivity and sustain the heritage.


Enjoy a delicious lunch at Quan Anh Heritage House, a historically significant site closely tied to the development of Hai Anh Village.
